Support while Hospitalized, Mother's Day Greeting

May 2020

Let us please take a moment to recognize the dedication, hard work, care and love that our fabulous HRC Nurse Consultants, our Nursing Service Providers and Nurses everywhere demonstrate on daily basis, most especially in these days.

Here at Harbor, we are blessed to work with a brilliant and compassionate team of nurses who are working on overdrive to make sure the health needs of all of our clients, and especially the needs of our medically involved clients in various home settings, are being met.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to HRC's Pat Zalenski, Lisa Marie Celentino, Yoko Cummings and Fruh Akinwande, and to all of our nursing service providers, for what you do and for being who you are!

And let us not forget that today kicks off Nurses Week, 5/6 through 5/12 with 5/12 being Florence Nightingale’s birthday.

The presence of a support person is essential to patients with physical, intellectual, and/or developmental disabilities and patients with cognitive impairments.

CDPH recognizes the importance of ensuring people with disabilities receive the support they need while hospitalized and has developed recommended visitor guidelines for certain patients to ensure support for their mental health and well-being, while striving to limit the spread of the virus.
