Presented by Juan Carlos Aguila, Ph.D., HRC Manager of Psychological Services - We now know how pervasive trauma is in modern life. However, we are just beginning to understand its full impact on individuals and society as a whole. Trauma can result in a variety of complex, as well as subtle psychological, emotional, relational and physical consequences, even long after it ends. This presentation will address some of these factors, as well as its impact on early development and individual differences. We will also talk about treatment options targeting trauma and lifestyle choices which promote resilience.

For further information or to register, please contact the Resource Center at (310) 543-0681. Childcare is available upon request by advance reservation only at least five (5) or more business days in advance of the training and at the time of RSVP..
