DESCRIPTION:For Harbor Regional Center individuals served & providers\, our courses offer a supportive environment for all learners! \nWhat You’ll Learn:\nJoin our introductory class\, designed for those with little or no experience in ASL. Begin your journey into ASL and learn: \n\n\nASL Basics – Common signs\, fingerspelling\, greetings and everyday vocabulary\nDeaf Culture – Understanding cultural norms\, values and community perspectives\nInteractive Practice – Role-play with real-life scenarios\, have small group conversations and learn confidence-building tips for clear\, fluid communication with the Deaf and DeafPlus communities\n\nSpanish interpretation will be available. \nParticipants must attend all sessions to be entered into a raffle for a $25 gift card. \n\n\nDeadline to Register: May 8th\, 2026
