Let’s Get to Work (Regional Center Service Coordinators)

Join us for a half-day training focused on supporting individuals on your caseload who are uncertain about working or struggling to find community employment.

• Sara Murphy, Senior Training Associate with TransCen’s San Francisco office, WorkLink, will share how the organization uses a “Strengths, Not Deficits” approach along with day services to encourage Competitive Integrated Employment (CIE) for individuals with disabilities.
• Learn how to braid or sequence California’s new HCBS waivers with Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) services to help individuals build confidence, develop skills, and create pathways to meaningful employment.

This training will be offered twice. Regional Center Service Coordinators should only attend one.
