Accessing Services that Support Mental Health and Social-Emotional Growth
for Regional Center Children and Adolescents
Presented by Owen Fudim, Ph.D., HRC Consulting Psychologist
We will cover the basic tools needed to assemble a comprehensive package of services related to mental health, for your child. Examples of these services include counseling, psychiatry, school counseling, language therapy, APE, and social skills training.
Topics will include:
- Children with neurodevelopmental issues typically benefit from a package of services from different types of providers. Which services work well in combination?
- What are some non-mental health services that have mental health benefits for our children?
- Expanding our skills and flexibility in working with different systems of care.
Interpretation services are available upon request by advance reservation only, at least five (5) or more business days in advance of the event and at the time of RSVP.
