Our Commitment to Provide Equitable Services

If you receive services from Harbor Regional Center, you have several rights.

This includes the right to receive a response to a request for service, the right to appeal if you disagree with the regional center about eligibility or services, and the right to file a complaint if you feel you are wrongly or unfairly treated by a regional center or service provider.

In honor of Harbor’s 50th anniversary, we would like to raise $50,000 to help 10 families start off in their home!

Parent Mentor

Harbor Regional Center’s Parent Mentor Program exists to support individuals with  intellectual/developmental disabilities and families. Our drop-in clinics are held monthly in various community locations.

Self-determination services and supports are designed to assist the participant to achieve personally defined outcomes in community settings that promote inclusion and allow participants to have more control in developing service plans and selecting service providers.

Developmental Toy Lending Library

At the HRC Resource Center you will now find a range of developmental toys that are available for check-out. From story readers to sentence building blocks, parents can borow toys which promote cognitive, language,and motor development.

The Toy Lending Library was created by a special educator to offer fun and developmentally appropriate toys to take home and use. Toy play will stimulate children and helps to increase their skills.
