Harbor Regional Center is seeking the development of a community-based day program to support individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities who want to remain active in their community through a variety of daily activities and who choose to work less than full-time. Participants will require increased positive behavior support around their activities of daily living, communication, social engagement, health, and independence. The site will be located in Long Beach, or the closest surrounding city within the Harbor Regional Center catchment area. The program will be licensed and meet all standards outlined in Title 22 for Community Care Licensing, as well as Title 17 for Community-Based Day Programs as well as new components listed in the Rate Reform Directives.
Total Start-up funds available for this project is up to $200,000.
