Regional Centers throughout California are soliciting proposals for the development of Housing Access Services providers that will incorporate the OOMM roommate matching platform into their Individual Housing Transition Services. The OOMM roommate matching service was enhanced to be user friendly for individuals that are deaf or hard of hearing.
Eight Regional Centers will award $50,000 in DDS Community Resource Development Plan start-up funding for eight Housing Access Services providers to support all 21 regional centers.
Direct any communication or questions regarding this RFP to the respective Lead Regional Center. Applications submitted with incomplete information or proposals that do not meet the basic requirements will be rejected. This Request for Proposal (RFP) does not commit Regional Center to procure or contract for services or supports.
Regional Center may elect to fund all, part, or none of the project, depending on funding availability as approved by the Department of Developmental Services and the quality of the proposals received. Please refer to the project description and requirements, which describes the service concept and the possible funding availability.
Total Start-up funds available for this project: $50,000 per regional RFP.
