Service Review

Harbor Regional Center is in the process of conducting an extensive review of the policies and practices related to many of the services and supports we provide. We invite interested Harbor Regional Center clients, family members, and service providers to participate in these reviews. Each service review will take place over the course of several months. Information will also be available in our Resource Centers in Torrance and Long Beach.

First Meeting- January 22, 2020 HRC Torrance

During the first meeting, our objective is to present a brief overview of HRC’s Therapy Services policy and the policies of other regional centers and we will share the written materials we have created for families concerning therapy services. We will also share information contained in IDEA Part C and the applicable regulations related to therapy. HRC will share overall information about the number of clients receiving therapy services and the overall cost of these services. We will ensure that there is sufficient time after the presentation of all of the material to answer questions and hear recommendations.
