For Harbor Regional Center individuals served & providers, our courses offer a supportive environment for all learners!
What You’ll Learn:
Join our introductory class, designed for those with little or no experience in ASL. Begin your journey into ASL and learn:
- ASL Basics – Common signs, fingerspelling, greetings and everyday vocabulary
- Deaf Culture – Understanding cultural norms, values and community perspectives
- Interactive Practice – Role-play with real-life scenarios, have small group conversations and learn confidence-building tips for clear, fluid communication with the Deaf and DeafPlus communities
Spanish interpretation will be available.
Participants must attend all sessions to be entered into a raffle for a $25 gift card.
