Procedural Safeguards & Parents’ Rights (Early Start, Birth – 36 Months)

In collaboration with the Southeast Family Resource Center, TASK Los Angeles

This workshop is designed to educate parents about their rights under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Key topics include the eligibility process, essential timelines, decision-making rights, evaluations, and access to educational records. Participants will also receive practical tips for effective collaboration and ensuring productive IEP meetings.
