Preparing for Adulthood

Harbor Regional Center, in partnership with our Family Resource Center, local school districts, service providers, and other community partners will host an afternoon transition event for clients and their families at Harbor Regional Center – Torrance.

This will be an event consisting of hearing from an engaging panel presentation and discussion focusing on employment, post-secondary education, day programs, supported living, and other related generic services.

Clients and families will then have a chance to wrap up their experience by visiting various resource tables to learn more about planning for life after school services. By engaging our community, HRC strives to bring to you an afternoon of strengthening circles of supports and learning about more options for the life after high school.

Registration starts at 3:00 pm
Event from 3:30 pm – 7:00 pm
