Toilet Training

This 2 hour single session is for Caregivers of all HRC clients

The following topics will be discussed:

  • Client/caregiver readiness for toilet training
  • Common barriers to toilet trainings
  • Techniques to increase successful toilet practices, like wiping.

This 2 hour single session training is for Caregivers of all HRC clients

This training will address the following topics:

  • How to help caregivers reduce prompts for client to complete tasks and activities.
  • How to create opportunities for client to practice skills more independently.
  • How to support client’s efforts to be more independent.

Understanding Behavior

For Caregivers of all HRC clients

Why tantrums, aggression, and other undesired/unsafe behaviors occur

How to respond to these behaviors

How to  reinforce desired behaviors and teach new behaviors

There will be six sessions will be held weekly beginning  Wednesday, September 14, 2022 and the final session will be held on October 19, 2022.  The weekly sessions will be two hours each.   These six sessions will be held via Zoom.

Learn the basics during this public webinar of the Home and Community Based Services Final Rule and how it applies to the developmental disabilities services system during this public webinar.  

California’s approach to implementing and complying with the Final Rule will also be covered.  

This event is for people served by regional centers, their families, and service providers who want to learn more about this important new policy.

This will be a six week series and held via Zoom.  Please enroll client in Orientation for Elevatus Sexuality Education as well.  

This six week series will provide adult clients with information about relationships, identity, expression, sexual health and behaviors, and decision making along with safe use of social media.

Registration is required for all classes.

Teen Talk (ages 14-17)

This will be a six week presentation and held via Zoom.

This series will provides 14 – 17 year olds with information and skills they need to make informed decisions about sexual health and relationships throughout their lives.

Includes intentional engagement with clients and their trusted adults to help families share their values regarding the content.

Caregiver must be enrolled in Orientation in order for client to attend series.  Caregiver consent must be obtained for client participation.

Charla sobre la Pubertad

Esta será una presentación bilingüe de cinco semanas a través de Zoom.

Esta serie le ayudará a establecer una base y un lenguaje común para la comunicación sobre la salud sexual con los padres/adultos de confianza.

Orientación al programa de autodeterminación
