Saturday Speaker Series: HCBS and My Rights

Serie De Oradores De Los Sábados: HCBS y mis derechos

The Saturday Speaker Series offers presentations that cover topics that are relevant to all of our families and service providers.  They are presented by Harbor Regional Center staff who have a wealth of knowledge and experience in their areas of expertise. Presentations are scheduled on Saturday mornings for the convenience of self-advocates, families, and service providers.  Participants will have the opportunity to view the presentation and ask questions.

This presentation offers ideas about the possible options for your adult child or the individual when looking into day and work programs. You will have the opportunity to learn about programs that may be new to you and ask Harbor Regional Center professionals direct questions regarding the options presented.

The transition into adulthood can be exciting, yet may be overwhelming for many. Please join us for our semi-annual transition event with a focus on post-secondary options. You will also have the opportunity to visit various booths and learn more about services and agencies to provide support during this transition. Come learn more about the various post-secondary options available for individuals.

To our valued Harbor Community;

What a challenging two years it has been. As we start to see the world gradually open up, Harbor Regional Center anticipates ongoing growth as it relates to the number of individuals whom we serve, with our center already surpassing 16,000 individuals and their families. The Children’s Department alone serves roughly 6,045 individuals and their families.
