Winter Storm – February 2024/Tormenta de invierno – febrero de 2024

Dear HRC Community,

As the National Weather Service is forecasting that a major storm will impact many areas in Los Angeles County from Sunday, February 4th through at least Tuesday, February 6th, we are reaching out to provide you with information and resources that may be helpful ahead of the storm’s impacts. Your safety and wellbeing are very important to us and we want to ensure you are as prepared as possible.

All of Los Angeles is expected to receive 3-6 inches of rain, with 6-12 inches possible in the foothills. This may include heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and strong winds. The storm could affect you by flooding streets, which can make driving dangerous, risk of rockslides and mudslides, and power outages.

Please follow the guidance of your local officials and be aware of updates and possible evacuation orders due to flooding.
