Meet the Client Advisory Committee

David Gauthier is Co-Chair of the CAC, and represents HRC clients on the HRC Board of Trustees. David also represents HRC clients in Sacramento in meetings with legislators and as our representative at the Association of Regional Center Agencies Client Advisory Committee. He is also a commissioner on the City of Long Beach Citizen’s Advisory Committee on Disabilities. David is employed by the City of Long Beach.

Deaka McClain is Co-Chair of the CAC. She is also a commissioner with the City of Long Beach Citizen’s Advisory Committee on Disabilities, represents HRC clients in Sacramento on the DDS Consumer Advisory Committee, and has a radio show at CSULB, just to name a few of her many community activities.

Kelly Sutton works at HRC as Client Advocate. She is on the HOPE Board. Kelly is married and lives in San Pedro.

Mead Duley also serves on the Board for HOPE. He is employed in the shipping and receiving facility at American Honda.

Michelle Roach is a CAC member and is also active with Life Steps Foundation Southern California Adult Services Advisory

Connie Leuck lives independently in Long Beach and is employed part time.

Rita Teodoro is a parent and has represented HRC clients on HRC Grass Roots visits to our local legislators. She is secretary for the CAC and also serves on the HOPE board

Janelle Reyes-Temasco is a supervisor with Life Steps.

Jeffrey Brower is a former HRC Board Member who is very active with his church. He lives independently in Torrance and volunteers as a singer at convalescent homes.

Wesley Dale is pictured here, applauded by Terri Delgadillo, Former Director of Dept of Developmental Services, and Danielle Heck, Employment Specialist. Wesley served for several years on the HRC Board of Trustees. After working for many years as a veterinary assistant, Wesley now helps to care for his mother, and recently started a new job.
