Harbor Regional Center is one of seven regional centers in Los Angeles County, and one of 21 regional centers covering the state of California.

All Regional Centers are private, non-profit corporations that contract with the State of California, Department of Developmental Services, to provide services and supports for people with developmental disabilities and their families. Regional Centers were designed to be local and community-based, and provide a point of contact for individuals and families with developmental disabilities in their community. Each one has a designated service area, and a local office or offices.
